Just need to share...you guys know I have been having issues with my sons, all of them. Nothing too serious, no drugs or alchahol deals. Anyhow..for the first time in months ( literally, months) K man was happy, singing in the shower last night. He is beginning to enjoy being a teenager again, being the happy go lucky boy he shold be. He is getting his schoolwork caught up, and will return to classes in January. Praise the Lord. Your prayers and well wishes have meant so much. Oh, he also has a new sweetie, an Italian girl with beautiful dark eyes, a winning smile, intelligent conversation...they are taking it slow..but are enjoying each others company.
Dustin ( the oldest) finally got his truck back. It was in the shop for 3 months!! It was getting old, taking him home from work every night. ( he lives 20 miles away, in the country) . But of course, being the mom, I did it. At least he was working and trying to do better. Now more oppurtunities will be open for him. But, please keep him in prayer.
Bird was having trouble with his asthma this week..developing a bad cough that wouldn't go away. His peak flow was very low..but the doc has him on new meds and he is feeling so much better.
As for me, my doc has been fussing at me..my weight has been dropping again. He doesn't want me to get below 125, but when I am stressed I can't eat. He has me on a mild anti depressant, and new sleep meds. And I also now have found a full time job.
This board is instrumental in keeping me going..your love , support and prayers mean so much.
Carmen, you have been my biggest inspiration ..your pm's and continued love and support have made things so much better for me.
Love you all.

Glad to hear things are getting back to normal.  Having raised a teenage boy (he's 25 now), I can totally relate to all the things a mom goes through and does for their kid!

Renee, SO GOOD to hear that things are looking up.
I TOTALLY agree with you...that Carmen is the best isn't she?  Our board is all the better because of her.

I'm so glad that to hear that life is calming down some for you and your boys. I can't even begin to imagine the stress you've been under. Also congratulations on your new job! Best of luck on it. You take care of yourself now!

Hey Renee,
Sorry to hear the boys have been under the weather but happy to hear things are looking up!  Thank the Lord for that!  NOW, start taking care of YOU!!!!

Carmen is wonderful!  I have to agree with you 100%!

Well, my break is about over!  I took a coffee break while Mike ran to Lowe's.  We've been cleaning today.  It is just so beautiful today.  I think I would rather be out going for a ride in the country looking at the beautiful foliage.  Maybe we will do that after church tomorrow.

Hope you are having a great day!
Becky

Renee...you will never know how excited and thrilled I am reading this right now.  Just yesterday, I seriously did some praying for you and I am so excited to see them answered.  Things are only going to get better.  Keep your eyes on Him and not the storm.  I love you!!!
