We are celebrating Christian's 1st birthday tomorrow with family and friends.  His actual Birthday isn't till Tuesday, Novemeber 11th.  (Veteran's Day)  I will be off work that day and will celebrate with him that day myself.  It's all going to be real simple.  My aunt is making his cake and we'll have chips and icecream.  That's it.  Just very very simple.  Everything will be football themed. :)  Alabama ROLL TIDE of course!

What are your plans for the weekend?

There's a birthday tomorrow at my house too!  My fur-baby, Biscuit, will be one year old!  He went to Petco today for his grooming and they gave him balloons, a bag of treats and a new collar!  Tomorrow I am making him a little cake - recipe from Rachel Ray.  It has liver and peanut butter in it!  I have to puree raw liver!!!  My kitchen will look like a science experiment!  Biscuit will have a birthday open house from 2 - 4 for all our friends to come by and visit (and bring him presents!)

Sunday, in between my three church services, we have Christmas Open House downtown Livingston.  I have a booth in an antique mall called It's All In The Past, so Biscuit and I will be there for the afternoon.  I am going to prop myself at an antique Chickering piano and play carols all afternoon.  If any of you love antiques, they will be having an auction next Saturday!  Great stuff.  If you're interested I'll send you the website for the auction.

So, that's MY weekend!

We have a very busy weekend planned.  We are going to meet Debbie Doo, Leo, Debbie's mom and sister at Lambert's tomorrow for lunch.  I think Julie and Teddy are coming also.  Then we go to Full Power Holiness Church tomorrow night for a singing.  Sunday we will be in Monroe County at Community Chapel Church.  Jimmy will preach and we will sing.  Looking forward to each and every event!!!!

Well, I bought a candy making set with mold at Boaz's Little Lots for about five dollars or less.  I have been looking at what kind of candy making stuff I have here on hand.  I am thinking I may try my hand at candy molding and making tomorrow.  It would be a great treat on Thanksgiving for the relatives.

I have a house that needs cleaning and washing that needs to be done.  Sound familiar?  Anyway, I have two mystery novels to read and a lot of school work to do, too.

I think most of your weekends sound more fun.  I wish I had a camper so I could go off to one of the parks and just paint for a while.  That might be fun, too.  I know that Hug would love it.  She is  a travelin' dog.

Karla, what mysteries do you read?  Do you have favorite authors?  I love a good mystery too.

We have our special Saturday at church in the morning and then lunch at church, so I will get up early and make my mini ham and cheese sandwiches.  Then come home and finish that book.  Geni is moving tomorrow, also, so that will be fun.  I have got to finish that book.  It is soooo good.  We will go to church Sunday and I hope to get a bit of rest this weekend.
