A Big WOW Moment at 2+ Years after LapBand!

Hi folks!
I love to read about WOW moments, they are very encouraging to me so I want to share this one with you in hopes of encouraging someone else. 
Rich and I just got back today from a vacation in the Smokey Mountains. We had a cute little cabin in the foothills in Townsend TN, which is near Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. 
My big WOW moment came when we rode go-carts in Pigeon Forge one day. I got strapped in my car with no problem, then when the worker came around to be sure everyone was buckled up he had to pull the belts and tighten mine up!! Before WLS I would have been afraid of being embarassed that the straps would have to be extended to the fullest then still have to suck in to get the buckle to snap.  I was SOOOO excited that my belts had to be tightened that it didnt even bother me that my husband beat the snot out of me on the track...well not much anyway.  

That is AWESOME!!!!  I love to hear WOW moments. Good for you!!!
I love the Smokey Mtns.  I bet it is just gorgeous this time of year!!!!

Thanks Nanci, It was amazingly beautiful up there!! I've been several times before but never this close to peak season. We were told by a local gentleman that the leaves peaked a little later than normal this year and that we were seeing them at their most gorgeous. We got some great footage on our video camera.

I know...shame on me. I'm mostly in lurk mode but have one again vowed to do better! I love you all so much and need to be on here more often to let everyone know that and be supportive. 

I'm with you, after I typed the original post I got to thinking...would I have even tried to ride before thinking perhaps the belts wouldnt fit? I know that I've flown before and had to ask for an extender for the seat belt and hated that sooooo much! I still love my band!

We got some good video and just a few still picks. When we get rested up I'll get Rich to put them onine so I ca send a link.
