Jennifer, I'm glad that he is doing better.. He will live a normal life.. My husband found out that he was diabetic when he was 18 and he now is 37.. It is a lifestyle change, but it is doable... You are in my thoughts and prayers.. Congrats on your weigh-in... You are doing wonderful!!!! Lesleigh

Yes you have!! You are a strong woman and can get through anything!!! Hey I was wondering if you think that someone might beable to help us get a support group going in Walker County.. You know I bet that we could have alot of ppl show up from Winston, Walker, and Marion County.. My work schedule is so different from everyone elses and it is so hard for me to make it anywhere far off.. Let me know what you think.. Lesleihg

Dr. Mathews staff had one in Jasper at the hospital a couple weeks ago. They are going to be thinking about starting to come here every other month. Get in touch with Michele Luv about it and see if they are going to be coming. She's the head of that group. I think having one closer to home is an excellent idea. Alot of people would benefit from it thats for sure!
