Probably having chili tomorrow night...I love chili with lots of cheese on it.

We stock up on steaks when they put them on sale that way we always have some for Sunday night.  It's our splurge night.  The broccoli and caulifower was most excellent and very good for me.  I am pleased with the food choices I made this weekend.  I had sorta gotten off track a little and vowed last weekend to get back on the right path and I have so far.

Oh my mercy, where do I start??? Please keep in mind, I did not eat all of this, it is only what I cooked today. As I posted earlier, that today is my  mom and my hubbies bday. We had a family supper at our house tonight. I cooked for 14. So, here goes: I baked a spiral sliced ham, made baked beans, green beans, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, potato salad, mac & cheese, fried okra, mexican corn bread muffins, yeast rolls, coconut cake, &  chocolate crunch. My hubbies grandmother brought a peanut butter pie and hubbies sister brought a hashbrown casserole.  My damage was a slice of ham, 1/2 a deviled egg, some green beans, a couple bites of roll and a spoon of chocolate crunch. ICK! I don't want to see or smell food for awhile, a long while...lol.

There is NOTHING like a beautiful SONday afternoon is there?  It was absolutely gorgeous (excuse my spelling for I am human & I do get things WRONG every once and awhile)!!!!

I thank God that I have a peaceful heart filled with joy.  You know it wasn't always like this Loretta... The PEACE that Passes ALL Understanding!

As for supper, I haven't eaten for I have been working on my mileage logs for work.  I did eat SONday dinner though.  We had Minute Steak, Cream Potatoes & Corn...Mom cooked.  If I had cooked, I would have balanced the meal better with some greens, etc.  God love her!  I thank Him for my Momma for not all of us have our Mothers!

Well said, Happy Girl!

I put Elle's Famous CrockPot Cubed steak on this morning before church.  Came home to a wonderful lunch of that with a little rice and green beans!

I actually think that was HAPPY GIRL's recipe.  Sorry I can't take the credit for that one, but I'm sure I've posted it before when someone asked for it.
