Foot problem~

I got two ant bites on the top of my foot, right at the ankle area.  I was using Polysporin on it but it never got better.  I showed it to the doctor this week, cause I was getting kinda concerned about it not healing.  He said I was having an allergic reaction to the Polysporin and to switch to Hydracortizone.  It's still not better.  I noticed today while Kyle and I were at the ER that a huge blister has popped up on the top side of my foot.  I don't understand what's going on but it scares me to death that I might get an infection and lose my foot.  Being a diabetic, these things are nothing to take lightly.  I put some different antibiotic ointment on them this afternoon.  I've also had those two huge doses of antibiotic for the strep throat and still on oral antibiotics.  I would think this would help clear this up.  It's still sore to the touch and it's going on 3 weeks now.

Does it itch?  If so try an antihistamine...you know me trying to FIX everybody!  Ant bites are the worst...almost as bad as a paper cut.  Something so small can OUCH!! hurt so bad.  Take care of yourself MOMMA!!!!

At first it itched and itched and itched.  That's why it wound up in the condition that it's in.  I kept scratching.  Ugh.....  Now with this blister, I don't know where that came from.  All I've had on the last couple of days is slippers, except with Christian and I went to WM yesterday for about an hour and I word socks and crocs.  I just don't know how this blister came about.  Scares me.

Keep an eye on that foot.  Being a diabetic makes it even more important to keep a vigilen****ch on anything.  It could turn serious before you know it.

Keep us posted!  And see the doctor if it doesn't clear up soon.

I did show it to the nurse in the ER today while DH was there and she said the same thing, to go to the doctor.  Only thing is I showed it to him last week and now this blister has popped up.  I just don't understand.
