Hugs for Thursday

Be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. (Eph. 4:32)
Forgiveness does not mean denying that you were hurt or that the matter was important. Rather, it means letting go and letting God handle the situation. It means turning the other person's judgment over to God. Even if the other person does not ask for forgiveness, forgive them any way. Do not wait on their repentence. Forgive quickly. The quicker you forgive, the sooner you will receive God's healing for your pain and/or sorrow you have experienced. The greatest forgiveness ever shown was on calvary as our Savior said, "forgive them Father for they know not what they do".
