Thursday Coffee Talk

Well good morning OH Family!  LOL  I sound like Ty Pennington.  HAHA!  It's going to be a wonderful Thursday!  The week is about over with.  Do ya have big plans for the weekend?  We plan on cleaning out our basement and storing some things.  Time to get it done.  How'd ya sleep?  I slept great!

Our challenge for today is to be a giver.  It is better to give than to receive.  We all love to get, but there is an awesome feeling about giving.  It makes your heart feel good.  It makes you feel good inside.  Shoot, it makes you feel good all over.  So today, be a giver.  Give something to someone.  Just a smile is something given.  Try giving today instead of getting something.  You'll feel better about yourself.  There are those that are always looking for something to be given to them.  People like that are not happy.  They are always scheming a plan to get and they are never satisfied.  Giving makes you feel happy and complete.  Giving is FREE!  Try it today.  I dare you!

So, who's up?  What cha sipping on? Me?  I'm loving me some HOT plane old joe this morning but it sure is good and it sure doe**** the spot.  Makes my heart all warm this morning!

Y'all have a wonderful GIVING Thursday!  BE BLESSED!

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Good morning my friend!!!  I love to give.  I only wish that God would bless me with more to give.  I told John just this morning that if I were a rich person, I wouldn't be because I love giving.  I cannot give much, but I love to.  It is not always money or things, but it can be our time, prayers, or whatever we have to give.  I have never been so blessed in all my life as something that happened 28 years ago.  This man and his wife, who were expecting a baby were hitch hiking.  I never picked up hitch hikers, but I turned around and went back and picked them up.  They got in the car and I was a bit scared, but peace came over me.  The woman told me they had not eaten in several days and they needed a bath.  I took them home with me.  I had not bought groceries and me and John did not have a lot at all back then, but I had some hot dogs.  I made them some hot dogs and fries and they both got a bath.  Then we began discussing the Bible.  The man told me that he was a new convert and that he wish he had a Bible.  Well, John has always had plenty of different Bibles because He loves to compare translations, so I picked one up and gave it to him.  Later, I took them back to the interstate and told them goodbye.  I did nothing but cook a hot dog, but boy was I blessed.  I never saw those people again, but God blessed me so much with those two people.  They may have gotten a hot dog, but I got a blessing.   I'll hush now.    I love you!!!

Ohhhh, you figured out what I am doing today!
I am playing "SANTA" to our Mr. Michael from the nursing home.
Tim & I are going shopping today to buy him some much needed clothing for Christmas.
Also, he LVES Almond Joy Candy Bars, so you know we have to get him those too!!!
Our Mr. Michael has BRIGHTENED UP since those of us on the board has sent him cards.  I want to thank everyone again for sending a card (s) to Mr. Michael.  If you would like to continue, please do so for you all are putting a HUGE SMILE on this gentleman's face!!!!  This is a priceless picture I wish all of you could see.  Maybe I could take a pic of him to post?  I will ask the Nursing home for permission to do so.

I love y'all!  You all are the best!

What a sweet, sweet post this morning Randy.  I love it.  I'm enjoying some fresh groud 8 O'clock coffee from WM.   It's good.  First cup of the week for me.  I've been in a giving mood a lot lately, even with I don't have it to spend.  I just dig out the plastic.  Is that wrong?  It just feels so good to GIVE.  I worry about the payments and all, but at the time, it just plain feels good.  I hope I don't get myself if trouble with that darned credit card.
