I'm FREEZING  And I don't even have a temperature now.  I just can't for the life of me get warm.  Is anyone else doing this?  I have my furnace set on 72 and an electric heating going, along with a heating pad and flannel jammies and 2 throw covers.  What' gives.  I'm ready to get WARM!

72? No wonder that your cold. I have my  heat setting on about 76 and I am still cold. I don't care how much that power bill is i am not going to be cold. I might just have to turn on those gas logs. my den is on the back side of the house and the den stay kinda of chilly.  I told Bobby last night that I was already tired of this cold weather.

Maybe I should turn up the furnace then.  I thought 72 was high.  I forget from season to season how to turn up and down the air and heat.  ha ha

I've been cold all evening.  But Tara and Bill and I just went to Barnes and Noble and got FREE coffee (got coupons online) and walked around a bit and bought a couple of books.  The coffee has warmed me up some, but I'm under a quilt now.  I hope you warm up!! Are you feeling better?

Good Evening my alabama friends, yes it is cold down here...I live in Butler, and just had to turn the heat on again...turn it off during the day when at work.
I just tried the chat room again this evening and there is NO ONE there!  Sort of strange, thought maybe everyone went to bed at 8pm or something...I am looking at getting the lap band procedure and have been reading messages from other folks who have had gastric bypass, but not too many who have had lap band...so many questions and uncertainties about this procedure...sure could use some good advice and information on others experiences on the lap band..still aquiring information for my surgeon(Dr. Hannon) Infirmary Hosptial, Mobile..saw him last week, and have a lot of information to get from other doctors plus the psych eval and dietary eval, which wont be until Dec.  The psych eval is in November.  Anyone willing to be my mentor is welcome.  I live in Butler, would love to find a local support group, but none available.  Hope to hear from everyone soon.  Sheila

Shelia, we're practically neighbors.  I live in York!   I had the gastric bypass but would be happy to answer whatever questions I can.  Everyone on this Board is extremely caring and helpful!  Ask anything - someone will answer!

I'm feeling a bit better and my throat feels much better.  I guess I've got enough antibiotics going on to make me feel better.  Thanks for asking

That is one of the hardest things I have had to get used to after WLS - being cold!  I was NEVER cold!  In sub zero weather I had on short sleeves!!!  Tonight I got out the electric blanket, flannel sheets and I'm in my flannel jammies.  And I'm taking my warm puppy to bed with me!

Oh Man, I wish I had me some flannel sheets.  I used to have a pair before the house burned down and I have sure missed them.  Goodness they would feel good right about now.  My big old cat Whiskers has been sitting in my lap helping to warm my legs today.  He's been a big help.  BTW, I love the new avatar.
