HELLO ALL! UPDATE ON MY VISIT TO THE SURGEON......
Hi Family,
I just wanted to start off by apologizing about not posting our daily prayer and prayer list.My precious Angel Sandi took me to the doctor.I just enjoyed her company.I had to ride a bus to the library as you all know I do not have vehicle.My Angel had to work half the day so I went and checked out some books at the library and was able to briefly get online for a little bit.My Angel then came to pick me up at the library and took me to my surgeon.I am so Blessed to have her in my life.We talked the whole way there and back.But anyway I will be back on in the morning to play catch up with that.I came home after my doctor's visit and my husband and I put our children down for a nap and then we went down as well.I was so tired as I got up @4:30 am because I couldn't sleep.(I had to be up at 5:30 in am anyway)I went to see Dr.Weinstein.It didn't take but a minute for Weinstein to just ask me what happened to me back in 06' I just told him well things didn't work out at that point because when they received "Center of Excellance" I found out I was pregnant with my daughter (My last last baby)(it just wasn't in God's plan at that time for me to have the surgery) So he said Oh,that would keep you from coming in then and not much has changed except I had gained 4 lbs in the last 2 years which is unusual because I thought I had at least weighed a little over 400lbs so he sent me on over to the insurance lady and she said they had all my paperwork dated back from 02' so all I would need is some papers from 07' and 08' which is pretty simple because in 07 it would be paperwork from my OB doctor up until august so pretty easy.Then she told me maybe around December 2 they would send me to a class that is required to take so I can make sure I can take care of myself after surgery and only have to do it one time I believe.So after that it will be smooth sailing from there.I might have a surgery date for January.I would rather wait until after the holidays anyway so I can eat all I can before surgery cause I know I won't be able to do that after.LOL
And also I will look at it this way A brand new year and a brand new me.Perfect start for 2009!!!! So just wanted to let ya'll know. Thanks for understanding about the prayer and prayer list and continue to keep the list coming my way.
I hope everyone continues to have a Blessed week as I continue to hear all the great testimonies from people.I love hearing them ya'll.Keep them coming you just never know how it could help someone in finding the LORD or help keep their faith with OUR LORD AND SAVIOR,JESUS CHRIST.I know I have been Richly Blessed!!! Thank You Sandi.Im so glad you talked me out of canceling my appointment.I feel really hopeful about this surgery.You are such a wonderful and amazing person.I enjoyed chatting with you today.(I had to lift it all up to God as I could no longer handle making a decision.It was emotionally draining me and bringing me down.So I asked God to do whatever was He felt was in the best interest for me)

You are so hilarious sometimes....LOL. Thanks for sticking by all my wackyness in this decision making.Ultimately it was God's decision. So I stand in Faith He will take care of me in the way He sees fit!! My girls aren't gonna know what to do with a "new" mommy I know all my 4 daughters will be saying You look so pretty mommy and that is what I am looking forward too! It might even inspire my oldest daughter to do something about her weight as well.It's bad when I tell my daughter how unhealthy it is to be overweight and she just looks at me as if to say "Mom,like YOU have room to talk!" so setting an example might prove to save her life in the long run. And maybe keep her from getting all the illnesses that I have that she is already predisposed to because I have it and so does her biological dad as he is 550 lbs.too. If I could just make a difference in her life I would be serving a purpose for it.

I am soooo proud to be your Angel! Our outing yesterday to Dr Weinstein's office was fun. I really enjoyed our conversations too. You have overcome so much adversity in your life and are about to overcome yet one more obstacle that has been keeping you from living your life to it's fullest. Putting the decision in God's hands and letting him show you the way is the best thing you could do. I am glad to hear that you are getting excited about moving forward with surgery. Dr. Weinstein is highly capable so you know you will be in good hands. Plus you have a wonderful support group behind you rooting you on!
Get that paperwork moving so you can attend that BEGIN class in December and hopefully get a January surgery date. It may seem so far away, but it will be here before you know it. The BEGIN class is just informational and they see how far you can walk before you get winded (yeah, us with asthma are def at a disadvantage there...lol). You learn a lot about taking care of yourself after surgery.
I like your phrase "A brand new year and a brand new me. Perfect start for 2009!!!! ". ou should put that in your signature. It is so fitting for your journey.
