Update on Baby and Me!

Hi Everyone! First of all, Debbie thank you for calling I'm sorry I missed your phone call...

I went into the hospital Thursday morning at 5:30am for a scheduled c-section. They took me back to the OR at 7am straight up and started the spinal. (I seriously hate those things). It took a few tries for them to get it right... after the 3rd try, I was feeling pretty good and warm all over. :)
Kayleigh Grace was born at 7:43am weighing 6 lbs. 0 oz. and 19 inches long. She was perfectly healthy and came out screaming like a mad woman! Everytime the nurses/doctors did something to tick her off, you know it because her screams became squeals and got louder. She was beautiful and still is! (I think she takes after her Momma... lol - at least she better). We were released from the hospital on Saturday after a short stay. We are both adjusting and enjoying each other so much! She is so tiny and none of her 0-3 months clothes fit her, but we're doing good with what she has. With the way she is eating and sleeping, she'll fill them out in no time.

I'm going to try to attach some pictures that I have of her... hopefully I can do it right. :) Thanks to everyone's prayers and thoughts during our special day. Everything turned out better than I could ever imagine!

Oh my goodness!!! She is beautiful!!! Thank you so much for sharing the pictures. I have no idea where you live in Mississippi but I sure wish you were close. I would love to be that little girls self appointed granny!!!! I may just have to be granny from a long distance.
