I've posted this before but it was before Vickie came into our lives so I'll do it again'

Ya'll know I work at several jobs. But did you know I am a certified Ghost Buster. Yep. Sure am.
There is a place on Brindlee Mountain called Parches Cove. It was a hunters paradise but it has now been sold and multimillion dollar homes are being built. The construction company was using the old homeplace as a office while doing the start up work. Surveying, plot planning, access roads. Things of that nature. They couldn't keep a secetary working there because the place was haunted. They had heard about my abilities to work with the spirits so they called me in. I won't let anybody be with me when I do these things because I don't want to give away trade secrets. I had somebody drop me off at the haunted house. I entered thru the front door. As I got into the hallway the door slammed shut. No big deal that was just about what I expected. I entered the formal living room and immediantly felt a chill. I looked back toward the entrance and there was a hugh ghost standing in the doorway. I looked toward the other doorway and there was another large ghost. I looked toward the front window and there was a third ghost even bigger than the other two. Finally I looked toward the massive fireplace and there was a fourth ghost. Bigger than all the other put together. That meant all exits were blocked Well, I got right to work.
I opened up my hymnal and sang a song to drive the ghost away. When I finished they were still there. So I opened up my Bible and read a special selection of verses. When I looked up they were still there. I then dropped to my knees and called upon the Lord for deliverance. When I funished praying and looked up they were still there. So I brought out the strongest weapon in my ghost buster arsenal. I did what any good United Methodist would do, I passed the collection plate. The ghost were gone in a heartbeat.
Ya'll have a good night. Love, Miss Mary

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Mary, I don't think the United Methodists have a monopoly on that offering plate trick.  Our Pastor feels impressed to pass it often.  I just hope it doesn't drive the Holy Spirit from our church.
