VSG Support Group

I am relatively new here at OH and had VSG surgery on 10/9.  Are there any other people lurking in the shawdows in the Birmingham area who would be interested in a support group for this surgery.

Hello Alabama guy.  I am not from B'ham and can't do support group there but I just wanted to say hello and welcome to the Bama board.  For the most part we are a pretty good group of people.  We do have  a couple who dance on table tops when they get a chance.  And some who wear go-go boots and try to act like teen agers again.  And then there are some like Little ladybug who never cause trouble and acts like the perfect angel she is........  But anyway,  welcome.  Come back often and be a part of us!!!

Thanks so much for your reply.  I have read a lot on the Alabama board, but have just not posted anything before.  I found when I went to the one support group meeting that I went to, that no one has even heard of this surgery.

This concerns me when people don't do any research on their own and just feel their doctor is going to steer them in the right direction.  It just doesn't always happen that way.
