There is a young man named Nathan I want to add to our list.
He is 14 years old and is our neighbor.
My son witnessed his father beating him a few nights ago, and my son stepped in to stop the father from beating him.  Literally, the father was throwing his son ONTO a car like a RAG DOLL with the son never fighting back.  The stepmother cussed/chased my son from the yard all the way to our home.  The stepmother knocked on my door...cussed ME...and I had NO CLUE what was going on, until I found out she was mad that my son stepped in to stop Nathan from being beaten.  (This IS the story...it isn't different for we suspect the parents were drinking.  My son never touched anyone...he just got up into the Father's face and told him to stop and to leave this young man alone.)
We called to sherriff's deputy.  The son CHOSE to GIVE his father one more chance instead of having his father arrested that night. 
PLEASE PRAY for Nathan.  My concern is that this young man will give his father one more chance at that Nathan may never make it to the next "chance". 
My heart is VERY VERY heavy for this young man.   I have cried & cried.
He has spent the night in our home and been here for supper....we have NEVER had ANY issues with him.  He has gone places with us, etc. 
Since this has happened, the parents have said that Nathan is no longer aloud to have any contact with my son or my family.  This is NOT the first time the sherriff's deputy's have been to this family's home.  This family needs prayer. 

Ok Brandy here I go, I'm asking for prayer for myself and my family.  There has been some things going on where I work that I could not be apart of any longer.  So last Wednesday when I went into work I was asked to come into the SM office to fill out some paper work that all the AM had to fill out and sign.  I did just that and also told the SM, in a very nice way trying to help them out, that they ought to go ahead and start taking applications for my position because I decided to start searching for another job.  Since it takes time to weed through applications in search for management I thought I was doing the right thing.  I guess I should have been a jerk and not said a word abd quit on the spot, upon locating a new position.  A few minutes after our talk, she called me back in the office to speak with out DM via conference call.  He asked me if all that he said was what I had said and I told him that yes it was and I simply wanted to give them a heads up and that I would be sure to work out a 2 weeks notice with them.  He in returned told me to hand over all my store keys and go search for a new job. 

I am out of work and my hubby only has this week left at his current job, due to seasonal work.
No income...now what!  Please pray that I find somethign and fast.  I am leaving here around 8:30 to go job hunting so p[lease keep me in your prayers today!  Thanks!

This week or next will decide whether a huge change will take place in my life.  I just want God's will for my life. 

Also, my friend's grandson, Jeffrey is serving in Afghanistan.  He is a helicopter mechanic and is here until Thursday.  He has been home for two weeks due to his wife almost losing their baby.  Please pray for him to be kept safe and for his wife and their unborn child to be healthy and stay well.

Please pray for all of our service men and women.  They sacrifice so much, as do their families for our freedom.  

PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS ELECTION!!!!  It is so important that we pray before we vote.  Please pray that God places the man He wants in office.
