I cooked at Mr. J's today. I experimented a little anyway. Took phillo dough and thawed it. Then half a banana and scoop a little out and leave a little trench in the banana/ I took dates and chopped fine and filled the little trenches with date. I brushed the phillo with melted butter and wrapped the banana/date. Baked at 325 for 15 minutes and I nearly ate myself to death. It was so good when it was warm. It wasn't bad cold but when it was still warm it was out of this world. I'm going to make more tomorrow and sprinkle a little coconuts and chopped pecans on the banana/dates mixture. It was almost as good as a bowl of turnip greens, corn bread and my kraut salad. Love, Miss Mary
