UNBELIEVABLE, SAD, UNIMAGINABLE!
wow. see? this is what concerns me about people making donations of their money, clothing, etc (or sometimes even "gifts") through these boards. kinda like the whole stalkerval situation, kwim? that's why i try to publicly thank people who have given things to me and my family and to include pictures as well. i don't mean to put people on the spot or anything but i *DO* want to acknowledge the receipt and appreciation of said gift. i don't want to ever be called a lier or a thief or a con artist or anything like that.
as far as my situation goes, if there are any doubts or anything of that nature i welcome the opportunity to prove that my cir****tances DO exist in a very real way. i'm very open about my situation and i have absolutely nothing to hide. i have shared parts of my soul with you guys that i have tried to hide from the people who are closest to me (my EX s/o, my family, etc.) because i trust y'all and i value y'alls opinions and suggestions. i sincerely appreciate the things that everyone here and on the main board has done for me in the past and continues to do for me right now and in the future. it's sad to think that these things happen and that they could mess up future opportunities for people who are truly in need.
believe me, if my job situation wasn't going south right before christmas time, *I* would be on the other end of the charity list and would be doing whatever i could to help someone else out. my daughter and i ALWAYS adopt an angel off of the tree at wal-mart (the seniors tree) and we ALWAYS go above and beyond what that person has requested just to spread a little warmth around that time of year. it deeply saddens me to know that we are unable to do that this year but i think this might be a good project for our girl scout troop. maybe if we ban together then we can help make someone else's christmas a bit brighter as a group
