Saturday Dinner

Oh and there is a good chance Hannah will be with me.
I hear rumor she is going to be spending the weekend
with her "sissy." It would really hurt her feelings if she
wanted to come and I did not bring her, so I will ask her what she "wants" to do and then let her decide if she wants to go or not.

answer will be!

Miss Mary--she is a quiet child and rarely ever talks in the car. About the time the engine starts, her nap does too!

Carolyn,
You aren't talking about "comedian" Miss Mary are ya? She is hilarious it isn't even funny!!!LOL I never knew her to be quiet especially when she tells her funny jokes.I wouldn't know what to do if she was ever quiet I have a ball between her and Mrs.Vicky Guerrarro.... .They brighten my day with their jokes.I look forward to seeing their jokes daily on the boards!!
Have a Blessed night!
With God's Great Love,
Brandy
I am looking forward to the trip to Birmingham and will enjoy it even more so by having the company of such
a happy and fun person!
Just didn't want the six year old in the car to scare her.
I know with those BUSSES full of children, a child on Saturday is probably the last thing she would be looking for!

The number of people who attend these things vary. Sometimes there are 20-30 and sometimes a lot less. It is pretty much open to whoever wants to be there. I am not sure who is in charge of the reservations this time, but Elle, asked me in another thread about car pooling from here. We live within 5 blocks of each other
I am sure that whoever is doing the reservations will count us in.
I enjoy the meeting other WLS folks because I need a social life away from my job. I need some people who have other interests and concerns. I also need people who understand the special grimace of having just eaten too fast, or taken more than a sip, or the embarrassment of suddenly foaming and not being able to stop it.
We have special concerns and share a common bond because of our weight and weight loss that transends our social status, achievements, ethnicity, or any other way that people are often identified superficially. We all have a special bond that is unique to our situation. I like our diversity and appreciate it. So, I enjoy these get togethers with such a wide variety of people with diverse interests and lives.
Ok, so I am philosophical tonight. I still want you to know that I treasure you all.
I believe Randall put together this event and we appreciate him doing so! Here is an original thread copied and pasted for those that may want to respond to him or to request additional information from him.
I am sure he will be happy to help anyone in any way that he can.
Also for those who have not been to events before, these events have always been open to everyone.
Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Non-Ops, families and friends?
Everyone is always welcome. Variety is the spice of life!
