Is it hard to have kids after gastric bypass?
I have PCOS so I have not been able to have children. My husband and I have been trying for 3 years now. I was wondering if after the surgery there would be more of a chance that I would be able to. I also wanted to know how long you should wait after surgery to have one and if it is dangerous for the baby or myself....
I dont think so,just start taking those pre-natal vitamins then bingo you in the family way..
I found out 30 years ago what caused that and stopped,no more vits for me,,no sir ree!!! jk you need to talk to Sandi Peak,cant remember the other girls names that have had babies since surgery..Good Luck!! Juju

IT IS REALLY EASY TO HAVE A BABY AFTER THE SURGERY JUST ASK YOUR SURGEON HOW LONG YOU SHOULD WAIT THOUGH. i DON'T KNOW WHAT PCOS IS BUT THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL PEOPLE THAT HAS HAD A BABY WAY AFTER THE SURGERY.I KNOW OF A MARRIED COUPLE WHO BOTH HAD THE SURGERY JUST SO THEY COULD HAVE A BABY. THEY TRIED FOR YEARS. SO IT IS EASY JUST TALK TO YOUR GYNECOLOGIST ABOUT IT.HOPE THIS HELPS!!

It is really easy to get pageant after surgery.I know a girl that had tried real hard to get pregnant before her surgery then got pregnant a month after her surgery.They like to you wait a year before you get pregnant because they say you go through malnutrition and it is not good for the developing baby. Some surgeons will put you on birth control pills to keep you from getting pregnant.Are you going to have a band or RNY?If you are getting the band they wan't make you wait that long.

Your quite welcome! I can give you one of my 5 children.....lmbo! I am just kidding I love all my kids even if they aen't flying right.I am actually scared if I have the surgery 
because I had no problems having kids and after my 5th child I had my self fixed but a nurse once told me that it is NOT 100% and I could get pregnant again.If I didn't have ANY trouble before surgery then I WILL GET PREGNANT.I can't afford another one with the way this world is going....lol.
