Have any of you got Direct Tv?if so I need your pro & cons,im thinking of getting it also..Juju

We have Direct TV. It's pretty good...in fact we've never really had a problem with it. The only thing is....like with most satellites you don't have TV when it's cloudy/rainy. I would recommend it!

I have it also no problems here !! Really like it .

I love my direct tv and my DVR.  I had cable and it was out most of the time.  My direct tv goes out rarely.

I have it & it had been WAY WAY more reliable than cable as far as reception & outages.

Good morning Miss Juju.  I am a DISH girl.  We love DISH.

Somebody has to be different and I guess it's me this time. We had dish and it was constantly going out. Rain, wind, cloudiness, etc. forge****ching TV. We switched to cable sometime last year and its only gone off air maybe twice in a year. So, I'm a cable gal at home. Now on the river we have to have dish and its working fine out there. Maybe it depends on the area you live in and the environment around you. Anyway, I'm just saying...........

You will never convince my husband that cable is better but that's only because he always used the dish. When we got married last August the weather must not have been ideal because we had no TV more than we had tv. I'm the one who switched us since I'm the one who watches the most tv and if mama ain't happy - ain't nobody happy!!!

we had Dish and switched to Direct TV because we had a lot of problems. The cable around here really stinks always going out. my dish doesn't go out when it is cloudy or just raining lightly but if is raining hard it will go out.

we have Direct TV and i like it .when its raining hard we can't pick up the satellite signal but other than that we have not had any problems. They fixed it so we could get local channels so we watch them when it is raining.When we got it it was winter and they put the dish to close to a tree and when the trees got leaves in the spring we couldn't get a signal and they came back out and moved it no problems.I don.t think you can Go wrong with Direct TV everyone around here has it and doesn't have any problems and when you do they come out and fix them.

Hi Jack Pam...I've been meaning to send you a PM to see how you're doing. Are you going on the cruise this year? I wish Leo and I could go but the budget won't allow it at this time.
