Thursday Coffee Talk
Good Thursday morning everyone! It's a great day to be alive. A great day to enjoy. Lucy and I have a friend here in Luverne. His favorite saying is "Any day above the ground is a good day." Ya know what? I say AMEN to that one! Its a GOOD day! Gotta make it be.
Our challenge today is to be a TRUE friend. Be a GOOD friend. A friend loves at ALL times. A true friend sticks with you through thick and thin. Always there, ready to help you, support you, and love you. Do you have a friend like this? Are YOU a friend like this? Be a friend to someone today. If you have a best/good friend, call them today or go see them and let them know how much they mean to you. I can't call all of you, but I want you to know that I appreciate your TRUE friendships. You mean the world to me and I love each and every one of you. I mean that. THANK YOU FOR BEING TRUE FRIENDS TO ME! The most beautiful countenance is the face of true friendship and I see it on so many of you! I APPRECIATE YOUR FRIENDSHIPS!!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm LOVING some Caribou coffee from our AWESOME FRIENDS in Minnesota. I can't specifically remember who gave us this coffee, but I THANK YOU! This coffee is so good. I'm sure Lucy knows who gave it, but she is sleeping and I wouldn't dare wake my sweet angel face this early to ask. Just know we appreciate it and it is SO GOOD!

I feel like with allot of you we have friendships for a life time. Tell Lucy that I am praying for her to feel better

Good Thursday morning...we are on the home stretch now. Friday is just one more day away, then it's weekend time. Hooray!
I'm sipping on some espresso again this morning and it's particularly good today. I do need to get some variety in my flavors, but my husband isn't into flavored coffee. Neither are my coworkers so I don't get much variety these days. But at least I like my espresso a lot.
I was wanting to have lunch with my close friend today, but have to go to the university that I am transferring to on my lunch hour. I will still give her a call today and see if we can't do it tomrorow. She hasn't had WLS surgery or anything, but we still share a plate sometimes. Most places just serve up way too much food. I will also touch base with as many friends as I can today, even if it's just to say hi....thinking about you today. Great challenge. Sometimes we tend to get caught up in our own lives and forget to stay in touch as much as we would like.

Good morning Randall and Lucy!!!!! There are not many "true" friends in this world. I treasure the ones I do have. I have had a friendship with a woman for many many years and I tell everyone that we are "friends enough" that she and I can tell each other anything and not get mad. That is a true friend....someone you can be totally honest with and know that they will still love you tomorrow. I am having me some Caramel Delight from Village Coffee...in fact...it's my last little bit and it is soooooooooooo good. You have a great great day today and give that little lady a big old hug for me please. Love y'all!!!!

It really is a good Thursday morning!!! It felt so nice outside this morning. I won't even mind the rain when it comes.
My best friend lives in Mississippi and we've been friends since grade school. It's amazing that time, distance and cir****tances has not changed our friendship and love for each other.
I'm about to make a new friend. There is a elderly lady who lives in the apartment complex where my mother lives. She has cancer and has no one to take her to treatments or stay with her or check on her when she gets home. It just about breaks my heart to think that she's going through what I'm going through except that she has nobody there to support, care, or help her. Mom and I are going to see what we can do to change this.
Today is my second treatment. I wish Lucy was my nurse. Not that I don't have a good one but she's not a christian and doesn't understand the faith Leo and I have. All the nurses at the Cancer Center are very loving and caring but what a difference the Lord makes!!!!
Got my plain ole coffee here but it****ting the spot.
