Quemine
I was blessed today. I took a bus load of kindergarden kids to Stevenson to Crow Creek Pumpkin Patch. Sixty six(yes, I do mean 66) five year old and five teachers. The very first child on my bus was a little pixie, I know she wasn't human. Cute as she could be. She started out with this(I will add periods and pauses, she didn't. It was all one sentence)Hi Miss Bus Driver my name is Quemine. Whats yours. Have you ever met anybody else named Quemine. It's spelled Q U E M I N E . I'm going to the pumpkin patch.Are you going to drive us. Do you have any little kids or are you to old. I wanted my Mother to come but she wouldn't. Courtneys Mother is going. Do you know Courtney. She peed her pants the first day of school but I like her anyway. How long will it take to get to the pumpkin patch. ETC.Ten minutes later the bus was loaded, I have a 72 passenger bus. Had 71. The teachers sat in the back of the bus and let Quemine sit behind me. I know why. 66.6 miles later as we pull into the pumpkin patch little motor mouth was still going strong. I have never been so glad of peace and quite in my life. I hoped she would run down going back home but no such luck. She sat in the front seat and discribed every pumpkin in the patch. Another 66.6 miles and one hour and 20 minutes later she starts to get off the bus and throws her arms around my neck and says Thank you for taking me to see the pumpkins. Ah, I'd do it again tomorrow. But I sure am glad to be home. I left the house at 6 this morning and got home at 4. All those hours without coffee. And I am sure I will never forget Quemine. I had one to my grandson & grandaughter came to visit me today !! I don't have to dirnk coffee when their here cause theymakeamecrazy
