Went to doctor
I love my new PCP. He has been my doctor going on 2 years now. I am so glad I switched. I had lots of blood work done. He wants to rule out some things. My thyroid the last couple of times has been normal, but he wants to check it anyway. He says it could be hormones because I did have a partial 2 years ago so he is checking levels there(I have tried to get an earlier appt with my gyn, but no luck, dec. 3rd is when I go). But he thinks it is depression. He gave me Lexapro for now and if we do determine that it is depression and the Lexapro does not work then he will put me on something else. I started crying right there in his office. Frank was with me and I am so thankful. Frank will tell the doctor anything I don't remember. So we will see what happens. I have a monthly follow up scheduled, but might see him sooner if I need to. He told me point blank that if I needed him to call him. I will hear about my blood work results in about a week. He really cares....

That's wonderful that you have such a caring doctor. It really makes a difference when you have a doctor that cares about you instead of just the money. I too have a doctor here in Decatur that is really caring and wants to help his patients in every way he can. Hopefully your blood work results will come back good. I've got to have my blood test done too.... I just keep putting it off!

Hey Linda,
I'm so glad you posted. I've been checking back and forth waiting to hear something from you. I'm so glad you have a good doctor. You do what he tells you and make sure you call him if you need him. It sounds like you have a great husband as well. That's a true blessing.
We love you and are concerned!!
