the best darn chicken i've ever made!!!
thanks to those *****sponded yesterday to my recipe help request, lols! but i completely forgot to print that thread out before i left work and was unable to access it from home and well, my memory just isn't too great right now and i couldn't remember what to do with my chicken. so i called my grandmother and reminded her about how i nearly set my kitchen on fire 4 years ago which was the LAST time i tried to make fried chicken (HAHAA!!!)
she told me to take some butter and melt it and dredge the chicken through it and then take the wavy lays potato chips that i had and crunch them up and dredge the chicken through that and put it in a glass baking dish. then i heated the oven up to 350 and poured the rest of the butter and crunched up potato chips over all of the chicken in the dish and baked it for about 45 minutes.
omgs!!! it was so good!!! so tender and tasty! even my super picky daughter loved it! (well, because she has a thing for salt and butter which of course, this had a lot of both, haha!) anywho, it was kinda bad because it was SO good tasting that i was eating it too fast and not chewing well enough and was hurting my poor wittle pouchy. so i had to force myself to stop before i made myself REALLY sick on it.
so yeah, it wasn't exactly "fried chicken" but it was close enough. and i know, i know... it wasn't exactly "good for me" either (all that butter and potato chips...) but man it shore nuff tasted good!
