Our very own Vickie has got to be a fabulous cook. I love her recipes. Except I can't make them turn out good. So I'm posting my favorite recipe here for the culenary challenged like me.
Start with a clean plate and knife. That usually takes a good half hour.I have to wash them and if I do them I might as well wash the 40 coffee cups sitting on the counter.
Next hunt thru the cabinet for the Wasa Bread, That takes another half hour because I can;t remember where I put it when I used it last.  After you find it in the utility room behind the broom and mop(don't ask me what it was doing there, the cat must have moved it). You can start the search for the peanut butter. I usually keep mine in the frig. But it takes another half hour to try to figure out what the mystery dishes are that catch my eye. By the time I get the frig cleaned out I'm starved. I am now ready to prepare my meal. I lay my nice crisp piece of Wasa Bread on the clean plate, then procede to knock it into the sink because I don't have any counter space left after cleaning the frig out. If I didn't have any dishwater in the sink I use it anyway. If the sink was full of dishwater I start over with another piece of Wasa bread on another clean plate. I then use my clean knife and take a thin coating of peanut butter(preferrable chunky) and spread over a piece of dry Wasa Bread. Then I usually knock it onto the floor, peanut butter side down of course. While the cats lick up the peanut butter I start over. After 2 hours and 15 minutes I finally sit down to my wonderful meal.  And that my dear friends is how I cook. Day in and day out my kitchen  is a disaster area. But my cats are very well trained, when I start muttering to myself"Now where did I put the Wasa Bread" they run to the kitchen and wait.
Everyone have a nice afternoon. Love, Miss Mary

No she didn't find me there. I don't think she looked to hard. I've been in my back yard most of the day. She's afraid if she comes up here I'll put her to wor****ep an extra hammer out back so if anybody(meter reader, postman, Mormon missionarys) come to the house I can just put them right to work. For some odd reason I just don't have many visitors. I can't understand why. Love, Miss Mary

Miss Mary I Love you !!!!!!

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Brandy, I'm going to confess I am a terrible cook. I can cook 4 or 5 things decently but  baked turkey gets old in a hurry. Even if I serve it with Kraut Salad and Raspberry Dream. I can make a decent yeast roll. And cornbread salad. That is about it. My husband(God rest his soul) told everyone(this is the gospel truth) that when we got married it took him six months to get me to get up in the morning and cook his breakfast. Then it took him another six months to get me to stop. He told everyone I treated him like a Greek God. I placed burnt offerings in front of him three times a day. He said the way I cooked a 5 pound roast was to put a three pound roast and a five pound roast in the oven, When the three pound roast was burnt the five pound roast was done. The smoke alarm going off was a daily occurance at our home. He called it the dinner bell. Love, Miss Mary
