Monday Coffee Talk
Good Monday morning everyone! What a glorious morning it is. Time to rise and shine though. A new week and a new day are here. We have to make it our best ever! RIGHT!
Our challenge for today is to help a stranger. Yeppers, I said help a stranger. I declare today to be "help a stranger day". HAHA. Do something nice for someone. If it is hold a door open, speak kind, even pay for their morning cup of coffee. You will never know how much little things mean to strangers and if we can share a little kindness, what a wonderful world we could have. With all the negativity going on, all the craziness, all the killings, why can't we do something kind? Why can't we share a little love? After all, a little love covers a multitude of wrongs. Right?
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm enjoying some awesome Boca Mocha Java this morning. Man, I don't know if it is the chill in the air or what it is, but this stuff sure is good! I'm loving the chilly weather here in LA (lower Alabama).
Ya'll have a wonderful day. Lucy and I are off to have her Nursing license transfered and she has to take her resume' to the Cancer Center in Montgomery. Then we are off to get her a new SS card. Busy day for us, but we will get a Village Coffee break in there somewhere. HAHAHA YOU KNOW IT!

Good morning my dear friends!!!! Sounds like you have a day cut out for you. I am praying that Lucy will have an easy time with everything and that the Lord will place her in the perfect job soon. I am sitting here listening to the Ambassadors (Jimmy and Debbie) and praising the Lord with them. If I can't have them in person, these cds are the next best things. You have a great great day. I am so glad to hear that Lucy is applying at the Cancer Center. She would be such an asset. I'm going to mention her name to Dr. Barnes. He's the Oncologist that actually started the Cancer Center and he's my doctor. Not that I have any pull but you just never know!!!!

Hope ya'll have a good day together, yes Randall you are right, a little kindness is what we need in this country right now.
Hope you and Lucy have a wonderful time together today, i pray that things go easy for her..now that the BIG things are done, ( like her moving, the wedding and all) the small things have to be done , the SS card, the drivers license.. those things can be tedious i know.. drink a good cup of coffee for me at village, i wish we had one of those around here, i believe Phyllis and I are coming to the Bham dinner on saturday. Hope to see ya'll there. !!!

GOOD MORNING,GOOD MORNING!!!!!! Gonna be a fine day today,that the Lord has made..Yes and I will be kind to a stranger in some way..I always speak and pass on a smile,Have you ever when in a conservation with a stranger you meet by chance, on the street,just as you start to part say,God Bless you,and if our paths never cross again in this life,I will meet you again someday and I will know you?? I do this most of the time,I get all sorts of looks but I even get a hug sometimes.It gives me a warm feeling to say something nice to a total stranger....You and Lucy have a good time today and enjoy what you find. Sounds like ya'll have a busy day. I will be keeping Lucy in my prayers as she searches for a new job.
It is a *****illy isn't it. Last night I made DH some Arroz con Leche (basicly rice pudding but extra milky) and we ate some while it was still warm....boy oh boy was that sinful! I told him that this treat was going to be the only one for this week, since I am trying to loose some of this weight!
I have just the thing in mind for helping a stranger! Yesturday DH and I went and did some shopping for a less fortunet (sp) family that has 3 children.....so today I will be putting the items in those clear plastic shoe boxes and boxing the items up by child. Then I am gonna box them up in 1 big box and ship them off. Thanks for the challenge, I love helping others!
