That's right!!! Leo and I woke up at 3:00 and I felt so good and refreshed. I told him I was craving a single scrambled with cheese and so my DH took me to Waffle House for an early breakfast. It feels so good to feel so good. People, I will never take my health for granted again. To have two good days this week means the world to me. I have chemo again next Thursday and the "mean" shot on Friday. This time my doctor has given me a few things to try to see if it can help with the nausea and pain that shot brings. I'm looking forward to trying his suggestions to see if they help.

I've got to share this with you guys. My little granddaughter who is 4 years old has a little imaginary friend that she talks to. Well, Monday her and my daughter Tara were riding by the cemetery where Wesley and my father are buried...side by side almost. Anyway, Wesley died of a heart attack and daddy died of emphesema (spelling). So, Tara is talking to this little unseen friend and she says, "Yep, that's where my papa and my grandpa are buried. Papa died in a fight and grandpa had earwaxzema. Tara was laughing so hard at the earwaxzema but was finally able to ask Tara why she thought papa died in a fight. Peyton just politely speaks up and says, "well, you told me he died of a hard attack". Get it??? She thought somebody punched his lights out - literally!!! I thought that was just too cute not to share.

So, I hope one and all have a great day - even with the rain. We're heading to the camper tonight and Leo says we'll take the boat out tomorrow.

Oh yeah, Leo's dad went back to the doctor yesterday and they got all the cancer and the lymph nodes came back all clear so no treatment for him. PRAISE GOD!!!!!

I love you folks so much, please don't ever forget that.

Carmen, I just keep getting gifts. You gotta stop it girl!!! Well, you don't really have to stop. I think you and Jackie are angels in disguise!!

Love and blessings,
DebbieDoo

Its good that you feel like eating.  Wish i had been at the Waffle  House but not at 3am.  We were just going to bed at 1am.  My son decided he had a report due today. One of our favorite places.  take care

I'm so happy you're having a good day Debbie.  I have friends going through or have gone through the same thing and I know from them that "feel good days" are such a blessing.  Thanks for sharing that story.  That is so funny.  Kids really do say the darndest things!  Thank God for the news on Leo's dad's results!

Children as sooooo precious - God uses them regularly to cheer us up!  I was the director of a church daycare for 10 years, and whenever I was having a bad day - I could always go into one of the classrooms, tell the teacher to take a break, and sit down in the floor with them.  I was immediately covered up with hugs & kisses!!  Everything that was stressing me out seemed to disappear!

So glad to hear you felt well enough for Waffle House!  I love it too.

Hi Lisa,

I have always loved children. I kept our baby nursery for over 15 years and then moved on up to the pre-schoolers. I loved every single minute of it. I taught 1st and 2nd grade for a couple of years and I will treasure that time!!

Thank you for your prayers.

So good to hear from you. Hey, I'll respond to Salad Shooter anytime, anywhere. It doesn't fit so much anymore though cause salads just don't appeal to me at all. Now, corn is still one of my favorites but I stay away from it for obvious reasons. hehe

Thank you for your prayers and your faith!!!

Love you and Lucy,
DebbieDoo
