Stuffed Spud Soup

2 pounds Frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Chopped green onion
one 10 ounce Cream of chicken soup
3 to 4 cups half and half or milk
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

2 lbs.of frozen hashbrowns, thawed 1/2 cup of butter 1/2 cup chopped green onion 1-10 oz. cream of chicken soup 3-4 cups of 1/2 & 1/2 or milk 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese saut'e onion in butter. Add soup, and potatoes. Stir in cheese and heat gently. Garnish & serve with chopped chives & bacon. Prep time 10-15 min. Cooking time 10-15 min. Serves 8-10
