Wednesday Coffee Talk

Good Wednesday morning everyone!  Hope you had a good nights sleep.  Today is going to be a wonderful day.  Gotta have the mind set that you are going to make it a good day.

Our challenge for today is to stand for something that you know is good.  Something that you know is right.  Remember the song that Randy Travis sang?  You gotta stand for something or you'll fall for anything?  Don't fall for any and everything you hear.  Stand up!  Stand for what YOU know is right!  You have a voice that speaks to you.  We call it our conscious.  I call it the Lord.  OK!  I promise I won't preach. HA!  But anyway, you know what to stand for.  You already have your beliefs and thoughts.  If you think it is right, STAND UP FOR IT!  Hold your head up high and stand proud for your beliefs.  Don't fall for anything.  Just stand for something GOOD.  Something RIGHT!  I have faith and confidence in YOU!

So, who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm enjoying some awesome Hazelnut coffee this morning.  It sure is good.  Hits the spot.  HEHE!  I say that every morning about every coffee don't I?  I guess I just make good choices each morning about the coffee I want.  LOL

Lucy and I got home at 12:31.  We made good time coming back from Atlanta.  She is sleeping in this morning and she deserves it.  Me?  I have to be at the Food Bank at 7:15 to pick up a load of groceries for the church (then back home around 10 for a nap) Thank God they utilize the prison system there to load them for you.  I'm so glad that we are able to give food to the needy.  It makes ya feel good when you STAND FOR SOMETHING GOOD!

Y'all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Good Morning!!!
WELCOME HOME LUCY!!!!!!!!

Awesome quote for today! Oh, how I miss working at the Food Bank back home! It is such a great feeling to be involved in that!!

Today I take my Grandmother to chemo she woke me up very sick this morning. Please remember her in your prayers and me as well. It is so hard for me to see her this sick.
They are cutting back on the chemo so maybe this will be an easier week.

I am sipping on some good ole Maxwell House this morning.
Tonight I am going to church with Micheleluv that will be the perfect end to a rough day.. going right to Jesus' feet.

Good morning my dear friend.  You know...you have to stand for your beliefs and faith.  I use to try to blend in with the world and the Spirit of God spoke to me and let me know real quick that "If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."  (Luke 9:26)   It gives me shivers and literally horrifies me that my Father would be ashamed of me when I come before Him.  I want to always stand for God.  We are to be a peculiar people...and boy...am I peculiar .  God is doing great things.  But yep...we have to stand for something and I stand for my Lord.  You have a great day today.  I am having some Red Diamond Brazilian mix.  Love y'all!!!

Good morning everyone!  Great quote Bro. Randy and I'm so glad that your sweetie made it home safe and sound.

Has Lucy considered applying at the Montgomery Cancer Center?  It's a large place and I think I remember that she worked for an oncologist.  The doctors offices are in the same building.  It seems to be  a great atmosphere to work in.

Julie, I'm praying for your grandmother.  Last night my mom and I talked in detail about my treatments.  They are horrible and I'm asking my doctor today what my chances are if I stop the treatment.  I never knew it would be so hard on my body.  Pray for me to make the right decision.  I haven't mentioned this to Leo because he's so set on doing whatever we have to do to get well.   Last week a very young lady sat across from us and before her treatment was over she was in tears and begged them to stop the treatment.  They did and she left the building.  It tears your heart out to see how some people suffer.  On the other hand, some folks seem to breeze right through it.  I feel like such a weakling.  I know that my indigestion is probably from the Ibuprofen I had to take after that mean shot.  I'm going to talk to Dr. Barnes about this as well.

I apologize for saying so much negative.  I'm really taking this pretty good but believe me, its hard.

I love you all and thank you for your prayers.
