I am looking for the cord to my camera.  I want to download the pics that we took on our Honeymoon, but I also want to show you the picture of our swing cushions you made for us!  My neighbors LOVE them and so do we!  I can sit on the porch now and enjoy the comfy softness instead of hard board****ting our hiney bones.  We ALL know how that is since surgery!  Lucy SURELY appreciates them as she is finding this ISSUE isn't a good one. HAHA!

Your letter and card was so sweet.  The picture, now you know what I am going to do with it don't you?  I'm scanning it and putting you on EHarmony.com!  I'm gonna match make you with a man!    JUST KIDDING!!  Why, if I had been 10 years older, Lucy wouldn't be in the picture!    You are just too pretty in this picture!    Seriously, we have just the frame for it.  It means SO much to us!

That letter touched our hearts!  To know that we have 2 Mary Mapes originals means the world.  The cushions AND the wall stitching!  Such hard work lets us know we were thought of in a special way and loved.  And also to know we are covered in your prayers means even more!

WE LOVE YOU AND "YOU" ARE SPECIAL!!

THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"

Now this I can't understand. You love me and appreciate me but you're going to scan my picture on eHarmony and find me a man. Duh. If I had a man I wouldn't have time to do these little things like make cushions and cross stitch and I would look a lot older than my picture because a man seems to age me faster. I think it would be best to leave well enough along
As for the cushions, I made me a set with sunflowers on a blue background(why sunflowers, I don't know. I don't particually like them)and bright yellow. I also two  spools cable came on and stacked two high and made stools. Did one three high and put a 3x3 plywood on top painted the whole thing blue. Made cusions from the same material. It is a beautiful little table and stools for my front porch. Painted my metal swing the same blue and my porch looks great. Now if I could just keep the neighborhood kids off it. But to make a long story short, I knew I wanted to make ya'll cushions with lighthouses on them. It took me a month to find the material but I was pleased with the results. And I am thrilled that ya'll liked them.
One thing I will add. The only pictures I do better than weddding samplers is baby samplers. Love, Aunt Mary
