Children are precious

I was so thrilled this morning when one of my co-workers came into the office.  She and her 2 little girls have begun going to church.  She was so excited this morning about her children praying.  However, she told me that something funny happened last night while her youngest daughter was saying her prayers.  Over the weekend, my co-worker had washed her bathtub with a cleanser and did not get it out of the tub well.  Her youngest daughter got into the tub and the cleanser burned her bottom.  Last night as the little girl prayed, my co-worker told me that she asked God to be with the soldiers and she prayed for her mommy and daddy and sister and then she took a deep breath and said "and God, fix my butt and make it stop stinging."   My co-worker told me that she was taken back and I explained to her that this is how we should all pray....just a little children...so innocent and honest.  BTW...her bottom is better now.
God is with us at all times.  Even when we forget, He is there.

I just wanted to share this.  I thought it was so cute. 

AWWW Carmen thank you for sharing that story with us.  Kids are so cute.  I'm glad to hear that they have started going to churcha nd praying.  Learning young is a great thing!!!!

How Precious!! I love the innocence of a child. If we could all remember to come to Him that way and not let "stuff"' cloud our view we'd be much better off.

This story reminds me of what happened to my younger sister when she was about 10.
My Dad was working on the roof and she thought it would be cool to climb up the ladder and sit up there with him for a while. She was scared to come down, and too proud to ask for help, so she just sat there for quite a long time until he got finished and helped her down. Now, this was in the middle of summer, so you can imagine how hot that roof was. Because of sitting on the roof that was sooooo hot, she ended up having big blisters bubble up on her bottom and really had a hard time sitting down for a few days. She'd KILL me dead if she knew I was sharing this but she never comes to this website so I guess I'm safe. Needless to say her big sis NEVER let her live that one down!
