Whew, I'm beat. We got home from the ballgame last night and our dog was barking more than usual. Insane kind of barking. My hubby went out, came back in and said to get the flashlight, that he saw eyes out near a big tree in our yard. Well, we venture out there only to discover we have been adopted by 5 baby kitties (about 3 -  4 weeks old). I have been syringe feeding them every 2 -3 hours because they can't eat yet (Their back teeth are just begining to break through the skin).  My good friend from work came today and got 2 of them for her daughter. The dog thinks since he found them that they are his...lol. He wants to see them everytime I feed them.  He has given them a bath twice...yuck! We can't leave them loose however, he HATES for them to get in his dog house. Another one has been promised out. His new family is suppose to come pick him up tomorrow, leaving us with two. Boy, it's hard being adopted by kitties!!

How precious.  Baby kitties.  I love babies of any kind, but I DON'T want another cat.  We have a 13 y/o cat already.  He's been through a tornado and two house fires and still ticking away.  He's lost some weight lately and did have an allergic reaction to something a couple weeks ago.  In all his 13 years, he's never been sick till now.  But he's doing much better since he got an antibiotic and allergy shot.  Now, just to get rid of the fleas my in laws dog left for us when they visited.  Ugh....... Grrrrrrrrrr,......Argggg......  Our cat has NEVER had fleas cause he has never gone outside.  Since we've moved here he's been out a few times on the back porch, but doesn't wander off.  I'm just furious that stupid dog left feas behind...... I NEVER DID LIKE THAT OLD DOG OF THEIRS!  It's a dachsund and it has this weird GROWTH on his head and everytime we've ever visited them there was always poop and pee everywhere and in the carpets.  YUCK!

My sister and brother in law have a dog with a weird growth too...lol! I dont like that dog because it barks all the blame time! Kitties are much better inside pets! We have a 7 year old male cat that thinks he owns the house and allows us to live in it. I will have to try to find homes for all the new babies or he will slip out and hurt htem. He hates other animals in our yard (other than our dog which happens to be a 90 lb lab). He slips inside to visit the cat from time to time. They look like the odd couple...lol!!!
