Blessed day~
It's been a cloudy but wonderful day here in Tuscaloosa. Holly came over early and I cleaned house, washed and folded clothes, then we went to Walmart. Got a few groceries and came home to unload. Rested a bit, cooked lunch. Chicken and brown rice casserole with cheese, english peas and biscuits. Yum. Took Kyle a plate of food for dinner and headed over to Hobby Lobby to look at birthday supplies for Christian's b'day. He will be 1 year old a month from TODAY! They want an Alabama themed birthday party and lands sakes if we did happen to find football plates, napkins,invitations, decorations, football pinata, mini footballs and everything we needed. Holly had a gift card left from when we took back somethings from her wedding and it was just enough to cover the supplies. It's going to be so adorable. My aunt is making him a Alabama Football field cake and his own personal little football cake. There won't be many kids at his party, just church friends and family, but it should be great fun. I'm looking forward to it already. It's going to be in our church fellowship hall. So, anyway, Christian and I are back home and resting. He just finished up his biscuits and strawberry fig preserves. He loved the chicken and rice casserole too. Maybe we can both get in a short nap before too much longer. hee hee
Sounds like it is going to be a great party. Even if it IS Alabama themed. HEHEHE WAR EAGLE anyway! I can't believe he will be 1 already. Allison will be 16 in 2 weeks. Our babies don't stay babies long!

Yep, the little rascal is 11 months old TODAY! He's walking and a talkin'.... He's quite upset tonight cause he can't FIND THE MOON! He knows right where it's supposed to be and the clouds are covering up HIS MOON! He keeps climbing up in my arms and pointing to the door and saying MOOOOO......MOOOOOO. So we go outside and he looks up and starts pointing at the sky down by the end of our house...were the moon has been looming for several evenings lately. He's just devastated that he can't FIND it. He looks all over the sky for it, but it's just not there and he doesn't understand. We sat out in the front yard for a long time with my Daddy today and again tonight and watched the cars go by......he loves that so much.....and I sang him to sleep. He loves to sing too....he can already carry a tune....amazing....he ahhhhhh's along to the tune I'm singing and sings himself to sleep or either to drown out the sound of my voice one. ha ha But he always goes right to sleep if we sit out there around bedtime.
I **THINK** it may have been a sunny day here in Huntsville....
I got up early this morning when it was still foggy and cool---got ready and headed off for work. I know I will be missing at least two days of work this coming week and I wanted to get a step ahead!
After I left work, I went by the Pet Store to pick up some Bird food. My bird was stressing because his food supply was getting LOW. I think he would have attacked me and ripped off my ears if I had not brought him some food home. Mind you--he had at least enough food left for a month in one container, but the container of food by his "Big House" where he spends most of his time, was empty and he can not stand for that to happen. He will just sit and look at it so sadly. LIKE I HAVE EVER LET THAT BIRD GO WITHOUT FOOD!
Then I came home and did a little cleaning and got started ironing. I want to get enough scrubs ironed for this coming week and the next week....just in case I really don't feel like ironing this coming week.
Tomorrow, I will finish laundry, clean my bedroom---I even want to wash the curtains, and will get everything just like I want it ! If I am going to spend two days in this room--it has to be just right!
So---a BUSY weekend for me. Monday I will work and then Tuesday---well, bright and early I will be off to the Oral Surgeon's office to hopefully fix this problem tooth
once and for all. This is the last chance for this tooth
before it has to be removed....and for what it is costing,
I certainly hope it fixes it! The surgeon promised to give
me really good medication and promised me that I won't feel a thing or remember a thing---AFTER he starts the IV! Oh well, he has already done surgery on this once and I do like him...I am comfortable with him doing this, so that counts for a lot.
Oh well...the iron is calling my name again...better run and get busy. Have a nice evening.

Carolyn, I get so tickled hearing about yours and Gwen's Birds. I had the privilege to meet two of Gwen's birds, but not my "namesake" yet. I can't wait to meet Loretta Dale too. Birds really are entertaining aren' they?
I so hope they get that tooth of yours fixed up and don't have to remove it. I am sorry that you have had so much trouble with that darned tooth. There is NOTHING worse than a toothache. Please let me know how you are and I'll try to call and check on you as well. Will you be feeling up to a call on say....Wednesday? If not just let me know......

will sit forever calling the cat by name--until the Cat comes in the room where he is and sits by his cage.
Crazy Bird has no idea that the "Cat" could and WOULD have him for a snack if he could get to him! It is a
act to keep the two seperated at times!
That tooth has been a thorn in my side for a couple of years--ever since I had the second root canal and crown work done on it. I have been on Antibiotics FOUR times in FOUR months for this. At one time, I was on FIVE antibiotics at the same time. (That is when they did the
soft tissue surgery on it.) Hopefully this will be the fix it needs!
Feel free to call anytime--The surgeon promised me that he will make sure I have what I need for pain! I plan to use it as he says I can! I don't do well with narcotics--they will relieve my pain, but they make me unable to sleep unless I take Phenergan or Benadryl with them.
So---I have Phenergan just waiting!
