I hade a smoked chicken sandwich on whole wheat made right here in my very own kitchen.  It was good too.  Christian had strawberry yogurt.  Kyle will have sandwiches when he comes home.  I haven't cooked much at all this week.  We're having homecoming at church on Sunday and I 've got to come up with something to take for potluck lunch after church.  Any ideas?  Would love something simple, easy and CHEAP to take.  HELP PLEASE!!!

i fixed me a salad with hb meat and i gave them pizza and fries baked not fried.  Easy and fast so we could head out the door on time

I had leftover chili.
Here is a recipe I make for Keaton's lunch..it is simple and inexpensive.

Cuban Bean SAlad

• DRESSING:  
•  ½

  cup olive oil

   
•  ½

  cup chopped fresh cilantro

   
•  2

  tablespoons lemon juice

   
•  2

  tablespoons white wine vinegar

   
•  2

  teaspoons ground cumin

   
•  1

  fresh jalapeño pepper seeded, and finely chopped

   
•  ¼

  teaspoon dried oregano leaves

   
• SALAD:  
•  1 ½

  cups chopped Claussen Kosher Dill Pickles

   
•  1

  can black beans - (15 oz) drained

   
•  1

  can pinto beans - (15 oz) drained

   
•  1

  can garbanzo beans - (15 oz) drained

   
•  1

  celery stalk sliced

   
•  ½

  red pepper cut 2" strips

   
•  2

  green onions sliced

   
•  1

  tomato chopped

    Wow..That posted weird!! It is better to make it a day ahead.

We had Cajun shrimp w/ baked tater ,7 layer salad and Garlic bread. Yum Yum
