Are ya happy tonight???

It's been a long, slow but wonderful week.  School's out tomorrow and Monday.  I have played with Christian every night this week.  He's just walking all over the place and talking up a storm.  His favorite words are Mama, Dada, Dog, Cat, Bird, Ball and now Moon!  He's learning so fast.  I am just one happy Nana tonight.  What are YOU happy about?

 I am really glad that Jesus loves me, no matter what I do!  I am also glad the girls are out of school tomorrow...grannie is here so I don't have to get them up and ready and take to school....yea!!!!!

I sure wish my Mama was still around.  I sure do miss her so.  She would love Christian as much as I do.  My Daddy was here tonight....been over every night this week to see Christian.  He was so excited.  He loves that BOY!  Christian TALKS to his Pop by pointing.....and then will say what he wants.  He points to the owl out on the tree stump and says BIRD.  He points up to the sky and says MOON.  That just tickles Daddy to death.  He throws the ball and says BALL.  My oh my....this boy is somthing else.  I've never seen my Daddy so happy since my Mama died over six years ago.  He turned into a recluse (sp).  Never went anywhere or did anything and never smiled after Mama died.  He's a different man since Christian came along.  Ya know....they say God has a plan for everything and I think he knew just what he was doing bringing this sweet little boy into our lives.  It may not have been OUR timing, but God's always right on time.

I hope you have a good day tomorrow.  I'm hoping mine will be a good one as well.

Not exactly happy. That same silly tooth that gave me such fits in May/June is acting up again.

Another trip to the Oral Surgeon today. Even with my Dental insurance, my out of pocket this time around will be $380.00 !! Ouch.
He has one more trick up his sleeve to try and save the tooth---The procedure is called an APICOECTOMY. The bone has infection in it where the root has been so irritated. They will cut out the infected bone, cut off the tip of the infected root, do a "retrograde filling" of that root and then seal it all back up.

I guess if I am to find something to be happy about, it is that this will be done WITH the benefit of Anesthesia.

Carolyn~  I am so sorry you are having trouble with that tooth again.  That's the pits.  I hope the surgeon can get you fixed up without too much more trouble and that you will be pain free real soon.  I hope you get some good anesthesia and rest. :)

Always happy but tired.  Im off work MOnday.  Brooks goes to school i think.  Just a me day.

I can't wait for a ME day.  Looks like Kyle and I are BOTH off on Monday.  Maybe we can have a "WE" day.  ha ha!!!

I am just tired after driving for such a long way.  The dog even was tired this time, too.  She got so excited this morning when I asked her if she was ready to go to Granddaddy's.  She headed for the door to the garage, which is not the one she usually goes out in the mornings.  To keep her from following me constantly in the house while I did the last minute stuff, I finally had to put her in the car and let her wait there. 

When we got to Dallas, she perked up and started watching things.  She acted like she knew where she was.  When we turned on to Dad's street, she started really getting excited in the back seat.  She ran into the house and started looking for him when we got here.  Then she wanted outside.  Dad has leaves in his yard....lots and lots of leaves.  She loves his leaves.  They are so different from her pine needles.  She loves it here.

I am looking forward to being here for the reunion on Saturday and the conference all next week.  I am excited about the things I am going to get to do.
