I got my first fill today!!!  I am so excited, I hope this helps with my hunger issues over the last 1 1/2 wks...It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would!  I am a wimp, yes I know..it hurt more when he was mashing on my stomach trying to feel the port...but he got it first try!

 You did it!!! The first time is always the worse. It is the anticipation of getting it that is so painful.   My nurse practioner always offered me a numbing shot before the actual fill shot. I never took it because I figured one stick was better than two. And, I was right.

I hope this fill works but if it should not, then don't fret!  Sometimes it takes a fill or two more to get to the magic point where you KNOW your band is working for you!

Have you noticed any restriction yet?  I don't know much about lapband fills.  I am glad for your sake that he got it on the first try.  Certainly you will get used to your fills and won't be so squeemish about it.
