Tusca'losers WLS Support Group

Thanks to those of you that have shown interest in joining the group.  We look forward to the restart of Tusca'losers.

If you would be interested in joining our group or receiving email on upcoming meetings, please just PM me your email address.  We will be restarting this group with our first official meeting on Thursday, November 7th from 5:30 to 7:30 at Panera Bread in Midtown Plaza across from University Mall, here in Tuscaloosa.  We are working on a topic of discussion and will be posting those details at a later date.  We are so excited and hope that we have a great turn out for our first meeting.

Wish I lived closer so that I could attend. I know that with you and Karla that the group is going to do good.  Maybe you can do a dinner on a Saturday afternoon and I can go over.

Karla is such a huge asset to the group.  Having a Licensed Professional Counselor is AWESOME!  She's so knowledgable about so many things.  She's such a good friend to me.  I know the support group is going to do just great.

Maybe we can get Karla to come and talk with us sometime. That would be awesome. Our support group has really grown in the last year. We are having speakers and doing things that we never had done. Just goes to show what can be done when you have a support group leader like we have now. Ann is one fantastic leader.

I am glad that you all are not putting any pressure on me here...heeheehee. 

I don't know how good of a group we will have, but I do know that we are working hard to fill a gap for people who have either had WLS or are thinking about it.  And I know that a group is just as good as the commitment of the people in the group...so a great deal depends on the people who participate and how much they share what they want and need with the group.
