B-12 Inhaler

Does anyone use the B-12 inhaler??  I was just wondering what you thought of it.  Thanks for any info.  I take a shot every month, but I cannot give it to myself and it is hard to get my daughter pinned down to give it to me.  I also take the subliqual each day.  I appreciate any info.

It works GREAT..but make sure you dont use it and run out of the house...shortly after you use it ..you will think you are having a nose bleed.  Kinda agravating if you arent expecting it.

Michelle I have not had that problem. Been using it now for several weeks. I prime on one side and then do the spray on the other side.

Glad you havent had that problem Louise.... I talked to Christine Moore ( It was GREAT to see her at the walk today too) about it and she said it was a common complaint, so I am not the only one that has problems with the nose bleed feeling. Along with some insurances not covering its cost, that is something Nascobal  is  working with insurance companies to get changed.

Christine was at our last support group meeting. Oh and being both of us knows so much about it we both forgot to say that they have a program where they will provide it for 6 months free to someone who may not be able to pay for Nascobal. I am so fortunate that my meds by mail will cover mine at no charge. I have the mail order meds thru Bobbys retirement.

Christine hosted a luncheon  while for our Alabama Bariatric Professionals....You must have miss read my reply ..because I said it was a GREAT product...just stating problems with this product. Thank YOU for pointing out how fortunate you are to have good insurance. Lots of people dont.. Anyone reading this post..please try this product and form your own opinion.

I must have missed something as I don't think that I said anything negative about the product. I absoutely love it and will continue to use it. I was tired of doing the shots. And if I did not have insurance I for one sure could not afford the $140. With the Nascobal spray you get the B12 into your system faster than an injection. I am so glad that she hosted you all a luncheon may be the next time she can bring us some snacks for the support group.

Jennifer you need to have a prescription from the doctor as this is a prescribed med. Here is the # that I have.  1 866 469 3773. They can help you with the insurance and tell you what your co-pay may be. Hope that this will help you.

I do and think that it is wonderful. I have taken the shots from day one but will from now on do the inhaler. For those that are not aware of the Nascobal Inhaler it is once weekly. Most insurance will cover the cost. My mail order meds covers it for free. If I remember correctly it is about $140 for the bottle. The company has an 800 # to call and will help with the insurance. They will be able to tell you if your insurance will cover and what the cost is. I love it and will now be using it until something new replaces the inhaler.Been using it now for the last 3 weeks and can tell a lot of difference.
