OH, its done Karla. Now I don't want to mess it up. I just went today and got new everday dishes as I got rid of everthing except my stainless. Bobby went a couple of weeks ago and bought me set of Noritake china for 12. Now to decide who gets my depression glass that is in my china cabinet. I might just have to store it in the attic as it was my mothers.
Hope that you are feeling better this afternoon. Missed you at the walk today.

First of all, let me say that I have 22 sets of dishes. I, of course, would never get rid of any dishes. I have my mother's and my grandmother's chnia. Both are services for 8. Then I have dishes with holiday themes, Christmas, Easter, Spring, Gardening, Football, Halloween, Fourth of July, Texas Independence, and all sorts fo things. I have heart plates for Valentines, Thanksgiving turkey plates, and then just some pretty ones that I like. When my house burned, I managed to save most of my dishes. However, I had to buy new ones, because my everyday dishes went to storage. So I have an extra set of everyday dishes, too.
You know that I love to entertain, so I use all of them a lot. And then there are the fountains, the decanters, and the punch bowls. Many of them were my mother's, but some I have bought.
Love china, glassware, crystal, and silver. What color and pattern of depresison glass do you have? Yellow, pink, green, or clear? Do you know the pattern?
I don't have that much. The main pattern that I collect is the Iris and Herringbone in the clear. I will buy the iridescent when I find it. I have all of my mom and a lot of Bobbys grandmothers. I have a large collection of crock bowls. My mom left me her grandmothers bread tray and flour sifter. The tray has got to be close to 150 years old. The sifter is round about the size of a big dinner plate. I will buy any color or pattern if it is something that I like and want. I to love old glass.
Just getting this message. I will call you in a bit, if I can get Christian settled down. He's been wide open all evening. We've been outside watching ballgame traffic and a wreck in front of our house with all the sirens, firetruck, rescue squad, police and ambulances. He was loving all those lights. Thank goodness no one was hurt bad. But it sure entertained that little fella for awhile.
