What are you plans for TODAY?

Oh, and Jill got up and cooked a big breakfast for us this morning.   Her boyfriend stayed in our guest bedroom last night since they had a late night out for homecoming.  They were in by midnight,  They're good kids.  But he stayed here awhile longer and I told him to call his parents and ask if he could just stay since he has such a long drive home from our house.  She cooked biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, grits, and eggs.

Im still sore from surgery on Monday and have a nasty nasty cough and it hurts when I breathe, have been insisting its a side effect of being put to sleep really I think Im getting sick! But Ive got to try to get to feeling like it and drag myself to Opelika to get another pack of shower invitations, I am hosting a bridal shower for my friend in 3 weeks! Then I am just taking it easy I have really over done it this week and while no ones home I am just going to rest and relax!

Elle - I hope your Nazarene church enjoys their Centennial Celebration! We have a youth rally today for all the youth in the TN valley zone (I'll be speaking eek!!). We don't know how many youth we'll have but even if 10 show up and we can reach one person its a success! I have to order pizza for all the folks at 1 and then help in the serving at 3 PM or so.

If the kids aren't too worn out we'll be going to work's team member appreciation day. After that I'll come home and fix food for our potluck after service tomorrow.

Sunday is church we're combining services between Hazel Green and Madison so there should be a good number of people there. After cleaning up I think I'm going to take a nap!

Another Nazarene amongst us!  Yeah!!!  I hope ya'll have a wonderful service tomorrow too.  Next Sunday is our church's 80th birthday.  Amazing huh?  I know you will do well speaking.  I can't wait to see pictures of you.  You need to post some soon.

I'll see if hubby will take a few of me today. Yup we're Nazareners here! Madison celebrated our 50th birthday a few months ago. Did you go to the Women's retreat a few weeks ago? I wasn't able to go due to a wedding at church.

Gotta get going... need to finish my speaking points and get the kids ready.

No, I didn't know about the women's retreat.  We did have a ASD REFUEL Youth Retreat a few weeks ago and boy was it ever FUN!  It was great.  I love  youth retreats, as my husband and I are still YOUTH at HEART!  My husband is just now living his YOUTH experiences through church.  We're so excited about tomorrow and our centennial celebration.  Kyle's parents are here from WV and haven't been in a church in MANY MANY years and we have really been praying for them.  We've invited them to come tomorrow to see their son get baptized.  I think they're coming and then to our house for lunch.  My Daddy's coming too.  I can't wait to see you and meet you one day.  I so look forward to it.  Keep in touch and PM or email me ANYTIME!  [email protected]

We slept in this morning.  So i just got up and got dressed and i had some tuna.  Im fixing to clean house and then we are going to a $5000 draw down tonight at the school.  I bought a ticket.  Im due to win.  About 3 years ago i won $1000.  If i could win something it could help with my plastics.  I dont have the money spent so we will see.

I've been cleaning this morning like a TROJAN!  Shew.......been thinking Jill was doing such a good job cleaning these hardwoods, till I got to doing it myself and found what all she's been leaving behind.  I'm just glad she helps out as much as she does.  She does dust real well and cleans her bathroom and kitchen for me......I clean my own bed and bath and all the laundry.  I HATE folding clothes, but no one else likes to do it either.....It usually gets washed then piled up before I can't stand it any longer.....ugh...

I have the house to clean, bills to pay, lawn to mow, and some school work to finish.  I also need to go to Sam's to get some pig ears!  However, since the football fans are between me and Sam's, I most likely will put that off another day or so.  Then there is that I may go back to bed and just wait a while to start any of it.  I don't feel well today.  Everything is making me sick.  I go through this every once in a while.  I don't know what causes it.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well today. Daddy, Christian and I went to WM a little while ago and it wasn't too bad actually.  They had lots of lanes open for a change and we zipped right through.  Got a good parking spot too.  It was actually a pleasant trip.  I ran in got our stuff and right out.
