What are you plans for TODAY?

 I'm spending the day with my little man....Christian.  We're going to WM and got to find a big roast for lunch tomorrow.  I'm going to cook for my Dad, all the kids and Kyle's parents who are here visiting for a couple of weeks with Kyle's brother who's wife just passed away.  His brother is working tomorrow, so his parents are coming to church.  Kyle is getting re-baptized tomorrow.  He was baptized many years ago, but his whole heart wasn't in it, so he wants to do it RIGHT this time.  Lord bless than wonderful husband of mine.  He will also be helping the Pastor serve communion tomorrow.  It's going to be a FULL morning.  We're starting off with breakfast at church then a 100 year Centennial service of our church.

Anway,...Christian and I are going to have a full day of it.

What are you plans for today?

I am going to clean house, watch a ballgame. I am looking for a recipe for something healthful but sweet to bake. I had a recipe for some fruit bars and I have lost it.....

I am up, very slowly. Had a late night last night due to out of town ballgame.

Today we are heading back out to the bus to go to Troy for competition.

What is it that I do? Ain't that a joke!!!! What is that we don't do where kids are involved?

My niece is on the color guard for Dothan High School and my sister-in-law and I are in charge of ways and means this year. Basically, we do concessions at the home games and then of course chaperone for all the away games.

I got a treat last night and got to ride on the first bus with staff, seniors and juniors, so at least I could sleep last night some of the way home. Just hope to be that lucky again tonight.

We are going out for lunch and then shopping for Morgan some blue jeans for school.  Then the grocery store.  We have no food in the house!!!

I've got everything I need for lunch tomorrow, 'cept the ROAST, which I thought I had in the freezer... but alas....NO, no roast indeed.  So, I gotta go get one.  hee hee!  I got Christian his first REAL shoes yesterday.  I got him some NEW BALANCE and a pair of CROCS..  They were on sale and buy one get one half off on top of that.  It was a real bargain.  Now I just gotta work on getting the little fella some clothes.  He has nothing for winter.  I did get him a couple of long sleeve, long pant one piece outfits at Sam's  a couple of weeks ago, but that's about it.

I have had a nice hot breakfast of biscuits, sausge and eggs....just finished showering and am about to get dressed and slither off to work for the day.
I am enjoying the overtime my employer is allowing and enjoying even more that they are letting me choose the hours I want to work it!  (Either after hours during the week or on the weekends)

 

You have a great day Carolyn and I'm so glad you're getting in that overtime you wanted to get.  Don't work too hard and take care of yourself.
