CAnnot Walk from Obesity

While I would very much like to participate in the Walk from Obesity in Birmingham, my arthritis is such that I am not able to walk any distance at this time.  I am hoping that this is temporary and that this flare up wil go away, but I am also fearful that this is the beginning of having to have a knee replacement in the Spring.  Anyway, please know that my thoughts and heart are with those of you who do and can walk on Saturday.

Oh Karla, I am so sorry about your knee and arthritis.  I know that must be painful.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  You take care of you!!! 

We will miss you Karla. I signed up to walk and will be there but will not walk also due to a flare up. I have another spur that is about to cause an ulcer on the bottom of my R foot . I was so wanting to get this taken care of by the first of November, but can't get in to see Dr. Gould until the middle of Nov. I am looking at surgery just after Thanksgiving. Hope to see you soon.

So sorry you want be walking with us Karla. I will sure miss you being there but I pray you get better soon.  If I lived closer I would love to join the Tusca'losers for coffee tonight..I know yall will have a great time!! Michele

I too, wish I could walk the walk, but I will have Christian and gas is too high to be driving back and forth, so I will  have to opt out this year.  I will be thinking of everyone that is walking for the cause.  I so wish I could make it.

I am going  to miss you Saturday. I will be there but will not walk. Got problems with my foot and don't want to risk making it worse before I can see my ortho. Been out today getting Beverly ready for next week. She is getting so excited.

Good to hear from all of you and know that Elle and I will be missed.  I know we will be missing a good time, too.
