Thursday Coffee Talk

I hope you slept well last night.  I think I slept crooked because I have a crick in the old neck this morning.  But I know it is going to be a great day today!!!!

The challenge for today is to be positive.  It is very hard to stay positive for a whole day.  I have tried many days to be positive and then something would come up and just wreck my plan.  However, I realized that I allowed that "something" to do that.  Let's all try to stay positive today.  Don't allow anything to ruin your day.  You will see just how much better you feel if you let all of the negativity go and just dwell on the positive. 

I am having Starbucks Serina this morning.  Boy is it strong, but it is good.  Y'all have a great day today and stay positive!!!!

wor****il the weekend--but then again, I am going to
work this Saturday. What was I thinking? Oh--yeah,
I am POSITIVE I will appreciate that extra money in my paycheck and even more POSITIVE that my creditors will appreciate it!

I too am positive it will be a great day.. COLD day, but great...  Our low was 42 this morning and the high has been only getting to 62 this week..  Trying to hold out on firing up the furnace for as long as we can but Im thinking we may have to break if it doesnt warm up a bit..  Suppose to be sunny today so hopefully we can get the house warmed up..

What a AWESOME challenge, I gladly accept!! Fall is in the air..I am loving this weather. I walked out on the patio this morning with my coffee and smelled someones fireplace. Just that hint of wood burning in the air...talk about clearing your head.

Tonight is my support group meeting! And I love it! Boy am I excited!! Excited to meet new faces and see old ones and how they have changed this past month.
I am POSITIVE that we are going to kick some old habits too!! I've learned so much from OH this month that I can't wait to share with everyone else! I am positive together we can make this journey a success and stay on top together!!

Thanks Carmen, I haven't been "sick" but had a tooth pulled and while mouth was dead bit my lip pretty bad....stupid and it has hurt like crazy!! Mark has had a bad cold and then yesterday afternoon he was replacing the screen in the metal frame on front door and the metal part that holds the glass dropped down on his index fingers and I thought it had cut them off!! Scared me so bad but they were just cut real bad on both sides so now he is struggling with that and not having the use of index fingers on both hands! Anyway I am being positive today and it is going to be a better day!! Sorry to write a book here, have a great day!!
