Will do Loretta. I'm seeing my pcp this morning to get results of some blood work for the very same reason. Mine dropped to 42 about 3 weeks ago for no apparrant reason. Then in the same week it dropped to 60. That's when I called my pcp. He told me to take chromium picolate, 200 mg and that would help regulate blood sugars. He said I may have to go back on glucophage. He said it would help both high and low blood sugar. Kinda like a "mood stabilizer" for the pancrease and helps level out bs levels. There are some other reasons why wls patients are prone to this. I won't scare you...but google it or look it up on the mayo clinic.
I keep my gluometer, peanut butter and cheese crackers, and sugar tablets in my purse at all times. I am no longer Type II diabetic according to my PCP and blood work, but I am aware of the dangers and stay prepared. I also carry and have protein bars with me when I travel, here at the house and in my desk drawer at work. I am nover too far away from help if I get that silly sort of dizzy feeling.
