Moving

HI!  I am possibly moving from MO to Florala, AL.  I was wondering if there is anyone from that area and could let me know what there is in way of support groups and a surgeon (for follow-up).  Thanks in advance--also is it a big town, etc.

Don't  sneeze or you might miss Florala.  It is a pretty place.  You will not be very far from Crestview, Fl and Pensacola and not awfully far from Dothan.  Dothan has a great surgical group for follow-up.  Dr Robbins is wonderful. 

The only thing I can tell you about Florala is the lake and I think there is a good many anitque shops in the area.

Thank you--I feel better now knowing that there is a surgeon to follow-up with and to know that it is a small place.  I like rural areas though!

I have a friend who is from Florala.. Had her RNY in Mobile!
She uses the boards (that's how I met her I was her angel!)
If you do move I will be happy to hook you up.. she actually knows 3 or 4 people there that also had surgery!!
She is no longer active on the boards but we talk via phone.

It's NOT a big town!
You are close though to Florida and will enjoy some good weather!
