I was in that facility on Monday & Tuesday...and I didn't go into his room, but the nurses said that they knew he got some cards. The Social Service Director and a few of the nurses said they read a few of the cards to him...and that he was grinning from ear to ear!
I seen him on Tuesday and he came to the nurse's station about the same time he normally does asking about his phone calls he has missed, etc. When he was standing there, He said NOTHING about missed phone calls. He stood there and seemed much "brighter" to me...and smiling, whereas to before he didn't smile as much.
I plan to post a thank you to everyone...it is coming, so hold tight! lol
