OT: New Car! I think...please pray!
Well, I think I bought a car today. I signed all the papers and was driving it home and it started beeping and the hot light came on and the hot indicator came on and I called the salesman and he came and got me and gave me a loaner car until they fix it.
He swears they will fix it up good as new, but the last car I got was a piece of junk and the transmission went out on it right after I bought it.
I bought this one from a dealership and it has warranties and all that even though it's 3 years old and has 46,000 miles on it. So surely they will fix it...won't they?
I am committed to payments for 72 months, so I'm worried.

JONI JUST JONI!!! I am SO happy to see you back on the Board!! I HAVE missed you.
I'm praying for you and your new car. There is a lemon law and also a 48 hour return law that you have if you feel you need to use either. If it has a warranty, they HAVE to honor it and fix the car.
I can't wait to see you sometime. Love ya my friend and WELCOME HOME!!

There is a lemon law..but there is no 48 hour RETURN LAW on cars. WE thought that too..the we bought a car from a dealership..after the first day the door panels fell off. WE took it back to the dealership. They absolutely do not have to take it back. Now most dealerships will do this as a courtesy..but it is not a law. Call the BBB if in doubt!! They did fix the door panels..but it was the point of it!!
A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.
