I attended Donna's memorial service this afternoon. It was evident that was very loved by her church. It was a touching service. The thing that stuck with me the most was what Donna's preacher said about her and it was the same thing that Connie had said Friday. Donna had a child like innocence about her and how she would get all excited and clap her hands. I don't remember his exact words but he talked about how Donna was a godly woman. From hearing some things that was said it was apparent that Donna's diabetes was much worse than she let on. I for one will never forget Donna. May she rest in peace.

The memorial service was beautiful.  It did make one contemplate one's own death and how people might react.  Donna's life was a testimony to her faith and belief in the good in other people.
