I went to the dentist lst week on WEdnesday. She replaced a filling that had fallen out. Now it HURTS!! It feels like there is an exposed nerve..And she won't be in til tomorrow!! YIKES!! And she didn't answer the emergency page I sent her!! The pain is excruriating!! I thought about going to a walk in clinic..but I don't think they will do anything!! I went through a whole tube of anbesol last night!!

Surely the walk-in clinic would at least give you something for pain.

You have my prayers!  I have a filling that fell out a few weeks ago and it is getting progressively more painful.  I also have two more teeth that need fillings and more than likely will have to be pulled by the time I get enough money to have them fixed. 

I need to go to another country where dental care is affordable to everyone, but again, no transportation!

The little bottles of Anbesol work better than the tubes, in my opinion.  Liquid instead of the paste...but that's just my opinion as a person who has dealt with dental problems for SO long.

Thanks Joni!! The bad thing is this..the tooth didn't hurt the whole time the filling was out!!
I do understand about the dental cae issues..my oldest son has problem teeth. When he had insurance he got a lot of stuff fixed..but since he lost his insursnce he is back to square 1!!
We need to get together soon!! I miss you!!

 Human Resources has a dental program for low -income . Dentist give there service free of charge if you qualify You will be put on a waiting list as severe comes first, maybe an  Idea for your son. Sorry your hurting

If it were me, I would send another emergency page.  Even if she cannot see you today, she can at least call you something in for the pain and make you comfortable.  I would call & call until I got someone to respond.  There is no reason for you to be miserable.
