DONNA TAYLOR

Donna was precious to me...I was her secret pal in the last session which ended at the Oak Mountain Reunion in April and that was the first time I met her face to face.  I had seen her at another reunion but did not get the chance to speak with her.  She did have a child like innocence just like we are supposed to be when we come to Jesus.

I was reading some of her past posts, reminiscing...she was always so happy and so sweet, but she was so tired and felt bad most of the time and I know that the Lord took her to give her relief.  She is no longer tired or feeling bad...she is still child like and innocent and is still smiling and praying for us all.  We have another ANGEL in heaven to look after us.

She will be terribly missed by many.  I am saddened for us, but it makes my heart leap with joy when I think of her being in heaven and at peace and FEELING GREAT!!!

I love you all and this makes me want to tell you all how precious you are to me and what an important role the love and support of you means to me.  I always know I can come here and get support and especially prayers.  Some people think that this is "just" a message board, but I know that it is more than that.  This REALLY IS a family...warts and all.

I am praying for peace for everyone who loved Donna and will missed her, but I KNOW she is happier than we could ever imagine.  She was or I should say IS a TRUE child of GOD!!!

Thank you Connie.  You put into words what probably a lot of us are thinking.  I heartily agree.

Not long ago I called Donna one Saturday afternoon.  We talked nearly 3 hours about this, that and not much of anything .

One of the things she told me about was the beautiful RED dress she bought on sale (we both loved a good sale) to wear to Randall and Lucy's wedding.  She was so proud of this dress and described it to me in every detail complete with the split up the side .  She was looking forward to picking up Donna B and heading to Luverne in her new "stepping out" dress as we named it that day.   Donna, I know you are wearing that beautiful dress and watching over us all.

Thanks for sharing that Gwen.  Do you think it would be appropriate to bury her in.  Wouldn't that be special.  I know she had posted that she found THE dress to wear to the wedding. 

By the way...tell Bob I said hello and I hope to see some more posts from him anytime he feels the urge.

Connie, I may be wrong but I think Donna was cremated which is exactly what I want for myself and Bob. But I know she left here in that dress

Donna was often misunderstood and I have to admit I was guilty of it at first.  Once I got to know her I saw her true beauty and her spirit of love.  I can honestly say  that Donna Taylor was a woman that I wish could have taught my grandchildren in school.  I know the love she had for both children and education. 

I only heard Donna sing once but her voice was like that of an angel. To quote a line from Its A Wonderful Life (Donna LOVED that movie) Another angel has her wings

You're very welcome Kay.  She is dancing in heaven.  I wish I wasn't so far away.  I would love to go to her memorial!  Are you making it to tTHE wedding next week?

I just got on the board...and I just began reading ode to Donna, not realizing "our Donna" had passed.
Tears are streaming.  My heart is just broken.  I can't believe she is gone.
I need to wipe my tears away for she is no longer battling her Blood Sugar levels anymore ....now, she's walking on streets of GOLD!
Donna is one precious lady!
