OT: school teachers

I would stick it out. As a teacher I can say that 90 percent of kindergarten students are not ready and it literally takes until after christmas to see them actually learning. The problem is if you keep him out this year in Alabama ( if I remember correctly) kindergarten is not required, if you keep him out he will be placed directly into first grade and THEN you will be faced with mulitple problems because he has had no exposure to the classroom. Maybe you can make it a game. Find something he wants or likes to do and attach it to a school type activity. Most of all give him ample time to adjust kindergarten is about exposing children to learning and teaching them how to interact with other kids in a school setting. Good luck!
